$5 MONOPOLY™ JACKPOT SCRATCH-OFF GAME
TALLAHASSEE - The Florida Lottery announces that Rebecca Adams, 22, of Destin, claimed a $1 million prize in the $5 MONOPOLY™ JACKPOT Scratch-Off game at the Florida Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. She chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $715,000.00.
Adams purchased her winning ticket from Texaco Food Shop, located at 248 Main Street in Destin. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
The $5 Scratch-Off game, MONOPOLY JACKPOT, launched in July, and features more than $32 million in prizes! The game's overall odds of winning are one-in-3.98.
Scratch-Offs are an important part of the Lottery's portfolio of games, generating more than $871 million for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in FY 2017-18, and comprising approximately 69 percent of ticket sales.
